Just 15 minutes' drive north of Ubud, the terraced rice fields at Tegallalang are a must-see for any visitor. The dramatic landscape makes it a popular stop for tourists, artists and nature-lovers alike. Have lunch at one of the restaurants overlooking the valley and then take a stroll and browse around the village where local crafts are sold.

Everything you thought it would be
By Hannah on August 14, 2014
The rice terraces at Tegalalang are exactly how you imagine them to be, it looks the same as all the photos you've seen in magazines. The part you don't see in brochures is the line of tour buses clogging up the traffic, but it's still a worthwhile experience.

By Bagus123 on June 18, 2014
The rice terrace view is one spot that you must to see.
Tegalalang is near from central Ubud area. There are many cafes to enjoy lunch and tea time with rice terrace view.
Actually, you can go up to the rice terrace field if you want to.
