Bali's newly upgraded international airport is located south of Denpasar, about 20 minutes' drive from Seminyak and Legian, in the area known as Tuban. Ngurah Rai International Airport is also somtimes confusingly called Denpasar Airport.

Domestic terminal a dream

We were very impressed by the new domestic terminal, it's quite beautiful and now matches the style of the revamped international terminal.

Improvement

The new airport in Bali is a big improvement, although it looks like they may still be busy with some parts. The biggest change for me was the added number of counters at immigration... You still have to queue up, but it doesn't take half as long as before!

I was surprised the international airport in Bali that is newly opened last year. But when we arrived there, some parts were still under construction. The restaurants and shops were not built, yet. We wanna come back to Bali next year, then we’ll see.

去年リニューアルしたデンパサール空港。日本から行く身としては昔の混然とした雰囲気も好きだったんですが、ともあれ新しく広くなりましたね。空港内ではインターネットも無料で使えます。
