Kumbasari Market is located opposite Denpasar's large local market, Pasar Badung. Here you can literally find floors of handmade crafts, including wooden carvings, paintings, souvenirs and more. There are also shops selling clothing, sandals, bags and accessories, as well as batik fabric and items used in Balinese ceremonies.
If you're headed to Kumbasari Market, pop across the river to Pasar Badung to experience a traditional local market.

Souvenir heaven

Leave some space in your bag to bring back souvenirs from Bali... this market is located in the middle of Denpasar, the busy capital city. You can easily get a taxi from any of the tourist areas like Kuta or Seminyak, most drivers will know where the Kumbasari Market is.
There are a couple of floors just crammed full of stalls selling woodwork, handmade crafts, clothing and textiles. Take your time and wonder around; most of the local vendors can speak basic English too.
