Jl. Melasti begins where Jl. Pantai Kuta comes to an end and heads away from the beach, up towards Jl. Legian. The road is a one-way for cars and motorbikes, but pedestrians can walk in either direction.
The Legian Art Market is located on the left-hand side of the road, where the usual Bali beach attire like Bintang singlets and boardshorts can be bought at reasonable prices.

Bars and souvenir shops
By Thompson on May 21, 2014
It's nice to walk from Kuta Beach to Legian street. There are some bars and local souvenir shops along the street.
At night, the road is little bit dark near Kuta Beach, but there are hotels and many car and motor bikes.
These souvenir shops open til late at night, so you can stop by and get some Bintang T-shirts!
